Senior Play Seniors Choose Austin Play In the 18th century, having five daughters and very little money was a serious obstacle to any mother, even if the daughters were lovely. In the play, I Have Five Daughters, Mrs. Bennet is faced with this problem. In fact, her one aim in life is to see all her daughters married. The only trouble, however, is that those who love their suitors can't get them to propose, while those who are proposed to do not care for their suitors. Finally, the youngest daughter elopes and starts a hilarious chain reaction. Everyone is satisfied in the end. I HAVE FIVE DAUGHTERS . . .
