Homecoming . . . Disappointment in Defeat One of the highlights of the school year. Homecoming, was held on September 23, 1972. The festivities got off to a roaring start with the bonfire Thursday night. The excitement mounted as the hushed auditorium awaited the cor- onation announcement. Amid cheers and tears, Sheri Conner and Rich Stuker were crowned Homecoming Queen and King. Their attendants were Marcia Rusch, Dan Jamieson, Patti Scott, Tony Seamons, Sandi Lenhardt, and Mickey Mellet. Things began to get even hotter. Kan- garoo Court had to be cut short, and the chance to uncover the shady past of students was lost forever. The band led off the parade, and the floats followed. It was clearly evident whose class had worked, and the juniors easily swept the entries. The game with the Cut Bank Wolves climaxed the week. The Beeters' hots were cooled off as they went down in defeat, 14-0. ss?? 24
