On September 30 and October 1, Homecoming activities started with a snap, crackle, and pop at Thursday night’s bonfire and pep rally. A street dance followed at Buttrey's parking lot. On Friday things began with the crowning of the royalty. Chosen king was Richard Stuker and chosen queen was Vicki Felton. Attendants were Patti Con- roy, Carol Leeds, Steve Harvey, and Bill Oehmcke. Kangaroo Court was next, followed by the parade with all float entries. During half-time of the game, in which the Beeters were victorious over the Browning Indians, the juniors were awarded first place for their float. Fol- lowing the game, Student Council sponsored the homecoming dance. 27
