BOYS' TRACK This year Boy's Track, under the able coaching of Mr. Whisonant, enjoyed one of its most successful seasons in recent years. The highlight of the season was the second place finish in the district meet by the Beeter trackmen. All year long, the Beeters were led by several standouts, six of whom advanced to the divisional meet and two, Cal and Jeff Harshman in the hurdles, advanced to the state meet. The other thinclads who participated in the divisional meet were Mike Taylor, Marlin LaTray, Bob Feist, and Garth Johnson. Rich C. Stuker performed well all year long, but injuries kept him from going to the divisional meet. 26
