HOMECOMING ACTIVITIES Some of the Homecoming activities were decorating the halls and a series of skits in the auditorium. On the left side we see Candy, Karen and Linda decorating the halls. ALL-CONFERENCE PLAYERS Dan H., Cal H., Jim O., Tom I. FOOTBALL 1969 The 1969 season saw the Beeters start slow and finish fast. After an opening victory over Harlem the team lost four games in a row, two of them in the last few minutes. However, this Chinook team showed that they had the stuff champions are made of as they came back and won the last three games of the season. The highlight of the season was the last game when the Chinook Beeters knocked off previously undefeated Shelby and let the rest of the conference know that the Beeters were as tough as any team in the league. Chinook's new coaches Heib Kimball and Gary Turcott feel that Chinook will be in the thick of the battle next year and hope for number one .
