The Student Council, the student self-governing body, which guides and governs at Chino High School, is perhaps the most active and effective organization in this institution. Composed of the leaders of the school and the leaders of every class and prominent club, this body served the school very well during the past year. The group meets regularly to act upon current matters and to make future plans. One of the outstanding activities of this year's Council was the promotion of the basketball sportsmanship trophy, which was awarded to the school in the Tri-County League displaying the best sportsmanship during basketball season. Don Pine was elected A. S- B. presidentg and C. B. Pruitt, vice- president. Bettie lenkins served as secretary? Marion lertberg, bus- iness managerp Emma Boyer, girls' athletic managerg Dick Deck- er, boys' athletic manager p and Bob lames, sergeant-at-arms. SEATED: Emma Boyer, G.
