1986 was a landmark year for the Lady Pony Volleyball Team, a new team that won the District Tournament and the Region A Tournament games against more exper- ienced teams. The group of 15 first time volleyball players were organized by Coach Suzanne Rice into a very skillful team who demonstrated true team spirit throughout the season. While the team did not win their games in the State Tournament, it still had been quite aan impressive year.
