The Varsity Boys Basketball team con- cluded a successful season by winning the Eastern Shore District and Tournament Championships for the second year in a row. The Ponies finished with a 7-2 regular season district record and 14-5 overall. Terry Anderson led the Ponies in scoring and in rebounding. Linwood Christopher and Eric Townsend were key contributors to the team offense and aggressive man to man de- fense. Terry and Eric earned All-District hon- ors, and Terry was also selected for first team honors in All-Region A balloting. The Lady Ponies Basketball Team con- cluded their 1985-86 season by winning the Eastern Shore District and Tournament Championships, with a 13-0 regular season record. They were upset at the Regional Tournament by Essex High by a score of 43- 40, leaving them with an overall season re- cord of 13-1.
