34 SENIOR PROPHECY Well, here it is 1989, 10 years have gone past, and they sure went a flying. Here comes my classmates one-by-one. Ill introduce them and the past things they've done. Also the present, and not to forget, the good things they ve done since last we all met. Denise Bunting, our class instructor, now has her own orchestra and she’s the conductor. David Lewis, who-married Kaye, has 2 kids already, with one on the way. Jackie Handy, who was so smart, went to New York to get her start. Belinda Howard, so short and cute, is still married to Buddy, with 3 kids to boot. Braddock Harmon, now he’s no bum, he earns a living playing a drum. George and Linda, voted most romantic, have the largest family this side of the Atlantic. Aaron Bernstein, so tall and limp, now works inflating the Goodyear Blimp. Sylvia Clark, our Miss CHS, is now a model and one of the best. John Tarr, our bridge building companion, is now building a bridge across the Grand Canyon. Sharon Floyd, always a striver, went to the Grand Prix as the first woman driver. Bobbie Jean Bowden, our dancing miss, opened a disco, it’s called “A New Twist”. Brenda Bunting, who still isn’t married, went to Goldey Beacom and became a secretary. Kathy and Arthur, who were teenage hits, it’s 10 years later — and now they’re “The Pitts”. Bernard Lankford, he went pretty far, he joined “Chicago” — he plays the guitar. Robin Carpenter, who couldn’t figure out an occupation, said she'd try, while she took a vacation. Charles Smith, who could draw so funny, ended up in the State Pen for drawing money. Audrey Byrd, our class lawyer, we'd like to report, became a judge in the United States Supreme Court. Timmy Tarr, who likes to act goofy, his favorite phrase is still, “Offy-Doofy”’. Mark Matthews, who didn’t like school, went in the Coast Guard — he thinks its cool. Donnie Thornton, who has danced so long, went on The Gong Show — he got Gonged. Janice Carey, who married Duane, has 4 kids and has moved to Maine.
