CHESS TEAM The chess team did very well this year considering the fact that there were only 7 people on the team. Mr. Sarasin did a fine job of starting the team up again this year. There seems to be much interest at the junior high level. We hope that next year there will be a greater number interested (both boys and girls), so that we can have a winning season. NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY The National Honor Society, advised by Mr. Zagrodnick, has been doing many new tasks this year. One of these is that to be a National Honor Society member, you must spend at least 15 hours per school year tutoring other students. This program has been very successful for both the tutors and the students. Again this year the NHS put on the Awards Night to induct new members into the society. 1.
