Well, we finally made it. We're actually performing in front of 56,000 people on Lambeau Field! After all those 3-hour practices, 3 nights a week, it’s all done it less than ten minutes. This is a thrill that won’t be soon forgotten. On August 14, 1982, the band played as the half time show for the Bishop’s Charity game. The Packers won the Jets. For all the band members it was a worth while experience. The crowd roared with excitement as they were impressed with the entertaining performance provided by the Chilton High School Band, under the direction of Dick Gillis.
