His presence is gone, but his memory lives on. The Senior Class, upon approaching graduation, wishes to give recognition to a fellow classmate, Donald Amel, who would be graduating with them on June 9, 1968, but died in an accident in June of 1967. Don was the Sweetheart King” of the Class of ’68. He was a member of FFA and the track team. In his junior year of high school, he was elected class treasurer. We will remember him always, but his presence will be missed. In Memoriam “He has not been taken away, only sent on before. The Class of ’68 would like to pay tribute to Gerald Graf, a member of the Class of '67, who would have graduated with them on June 4, 1967. During his high school career, Jerry participated in football, basketball, baseball, track and C-club. This portion of the page is dedicated to the memory of Jerry Graf, but we need no memorial, for we, his friends, will remember him forever. 14
