Dedication This edition of the 1968 Tigerette, we humbly dedicate to you, Mr. Drone. In past years here, you have given freely of yourself to many activities. Not only have you struggled with freshmen in your General Science classes, but you have been our basketball coach, our track and Cross Country coach, and have been advisor to the Student Council for several years. And so, Mr. Drone, in appreciation for all the things you have given to us at C.H.S. we wish to give you this small token of our gratitude. Mr. Drone graduated from Ladysmith High School in northern Wisconsin. After high school, he went to Wisconsin State University, Eau Claire where he received his Bachelor's Degree. Later he obtained his Master’s Degree in Education at Ohio University. He came to Chilton High in October. 1946 and has been with us ever since. 4 ADMINISTRATION 5 Superintendent Dear Students: Members of the class of ’68 will soon be taking their place in a society that is prosperous, progressive and full of opportunity. Yet strangely enough, there has never been a time in which there has been so much dissention, turmoil and protest. A myriad of problems involving such things as over-population, pollution and waste of natural resources, technological unemployment, and human relations face you and must be solved if there is to be a bright and happy future. Solutions can only be brought about by educated men and women willing to work earnestly and with responsibility. It is our hope that during your four years as a student at Chilton High School that we have provided you with the foundation and background for your development into a truly educated person, qualified and competent as a decision maker of tomorrow. Good luck. 6 A. W. GORDON, Superintendent Principal Dear Students, How lucky we are to belong to an outstanding school. How lucky we are to live in such a beautiful land. How lucky we are to be citizens of the most wonderful nation on the face of the earth. How lucky we are to have you, for upon you lies our every hope in the future. A1,BERT R. Hopefully these have been overcome and the annual will please all. Advice and assistance from Mr. Augsburger enabled us to present a concise and accurate yearbook. Special credit should be given to two people who worked diligently with the staff members to meet deadlines, Diane Vogt and Sandy Sket. Everyone concerned with the annual and especially those who solicited for ads, thank you very much for helping us with the TIGERETTE. No amount of praise or credit can be given to the members of my staff. They deserve much more. Thank you seems inadequate, but nothing else can be said. Each person on the staff has worked to the best of their ability to produce this book. I can only say Thank you to each person, and hope that they understand.
