The purposes are many, and not easy to enumerate, but one of the major ones is the de- velopment of an active mind. Your school is attempting to put an increasing emphasis on scholarship, because it realizes that in the final analysis, ideas of the mind determine worthwhile human activity. It is our desire that each activity has had a contribution to make toward your individual mental development. Your year of education should have given much to your and in return much should be expected from you. The faculty and I sincerely feel your community will be a better place to live because of the time you have spent at Chiloquin High School. jf 0709560 Principal JOHN MATHIS Principal 9th Math PRETORIA BELL Commercial Library Glee Club DON HARRIS Math Science JEANNE SPICER Seventh Grade Eighth Home Economics GEORGE HOBBS Science Shop JOE MORGAN N7 Seventh and Eighth M' Qigfg x,EXZ,Z' S Sifyy 3 X 'f M if , RUTH HAGLESTEIN Science Girls' Physical Education FRANK DIULIO Social Studies Boys' Physical Education MARVA SANDERS English Dram atics GORDON KUIS T Eighth Grade Coach VINA KIRK Home Economics Music 5 -3 Q SEATED, left to right: Munson Sandoval, Sandra Haas, Lowell Mannering, Claudia Heglund Lyle Hall, Hubert LeBeau.
