It is our wish that everyone will hop on The Bandwaqonu and have a merry ride from the beqinninq to the end. One of our purposes in compiling informa- tion for a yearbook is to qive the students ot C.H.S. an irnmemorial possessionfthe oppor- tunity in the years to Come to look over these paqes and remember the experiences of 53- 54. Won't you step on, take a seat, and join us on The Bandwagon? Mr. M. M. Berry. Superintendent ci Schools nth Superintendent Merrill M. Berry, Superintendent of Chillicothe Schools, is one ci the con- ductors ot our bandwagon. His duty is to synchronize the instruments e pupils, teachers, and parents -W and to keep them in time and tunctioninq srnoothly. With the exception oi the inevitably occasional sour note, he succeeds in maintaining harrnony and in providing training tor the biq performancef use- lul citizenship. Board of Education The Board ot Education has the chal- lenqinq job of layinq plans today tor tornorrows schools. This job has been handled Very successfully this year by these rnembers: Mr. l-larry Wort, who is president, Mrs. Frank T. Marr, Mr. Ray Duffy, Mr. Gordon Hixon, and Mr. William H. Herrnstein. The members of the school board and school administration, as well as everyone else associated with the schools, were qrieved at the untirnely death ot President Russell McViclcer on Cctober 3l, l953. The Piano Key Formation played to the tune of Hayden Symphony was probably the most outstandinq. This year the band traveled to Lancaster and Zanesville. We wish the band a lot of luck for the coming year and hope it will be one of the best bands C.H.S. has ever had. Top Row: Patty Seyr:1:-r, , , D, . l-.rim ..i-::'er, Beffy Ez aan, Cookie Brown.
