Here in the C. H. S. office the credit is given to Miss Corrine Mead, who succeeded Mrs. Rob- ert Miller in January, 1952. Q. ,, K K Our school board, like the superintendent and principal, strives to keep our school sys- tem among the best. To accomplish this, they have set up a goal which is to have all up-to- date buildings and to provide adequate facili- ties for our growing school districts. The school board has promoted community inter- est in such ways as urging a large attendance at social affairs, special programs, and athlet- ic games. They endeavor to maintain high levels of scholarship on the part of the gradu- ating seniors and to have our high school rank near the top in the state. The Chillicothe Board of Education is striv- ing to make our school thus. Helping to carry out these plans are Mr. Russell McVicker, who is president for the tenth consecutive year, and Mr. Ray Duffy, Mr. Gordon Hixon, Mr. Harry Worf and Mrs. Frank T. Marr. These members freely and willingly give their time to this commendable service and deserve heartfelt thanks from all the citizens of Chil- licothc. Miss Corrine Mead, Miss Leona Hess, Mrs. Tom Clark
