Sciences Help Students Probe The Universe Just follow your nose, and you will find the chemistry lab, where students probe the com¬ position of the world around them. Or visit a biology class, where the students learn about plant and animal organisms, or a physics or general science class, where scientific prin¬ ciples are applied to everyday living. Through all of these activities students get a better un¬ derstanding of man and his environment and are better prepared to cope with the myriad problems facing modern man. This year, as in the past, students enrolled in science classes worked hard preparing projects for the school Science Fair. In addition to this participation, three chemistry students entered projects in the Western Virginia Science Fair. 14
