HOMECOMING 1968 The Senior Class wanted a “Honey Of A Victory.” honey of a victory Homecoming 1968 began with a Spirit Pep Rally held at the school, Thursday, October 3, 1968. The parade Friday afternoon included entries from the various classes and clubs. The Home¬ coming game between the Chilhowie Warriors and Patrick Henry Rebels was a close-fought battle with the Rebels coming out on top 14 to 7. The queen’s coronation and the awarding of float prizes at half-time of the game high¬ lighted the week’s activities. A dance after the game concluded Homecoming 1968. 22

T 0 to p “Stomp ’Em” was the cry of the Junior Class. The Future Farmers of America float, Sock It To ' Em”, won third place. The Freshman Class worked hard on their float, “Race to Victory.”
