That is the same Way with our own lives. It seems 45 that this department has been somewhat neglected, and we hope that ig? it will not be long before prompt action can be gained for the addition if of some needed machinery and tools. A very efficient teacher is in 2123 charge of this department. Many 52 CW times the students have been compelled to carry water to their smok- if 65 ing typewriters. That is the reason Why We need a smokeless type- Writer. The teacher has ever been watchful toward averting fires gig in this department on account of the intense heat that is worked up JL, Wg as a result of the fast work on the machines. Every once in a while, 2 5,5 we have a nice little dance in this roomy but we do not use our dogs C3 Qi? to dance withg instead, it is with our hands that We are compelled Qi? ,Eb to dance to the tune of some ancient, yet rythmical, music which 510 Clif comes forth from the portable phonograph in the room. G5 There is no need to say that commercial work in any school has a very high assessment. It is true that the world is calling for 1 , . efficient men and Women to carry on the business of merchants, . doctors, lawyers, and a hoard of others. For that reason we may say that this department stands out as one of the very best in our Z school, and that its true worth is inestimable.
