...Q- .....,..., e p g . ,ss , ,. :QV 4' if L -'Z-1 sffvfom HISTORY 3 The graduating class of 19 feels honored to be the first Senior Class to place the class events within the pages of the Schoolfs first annuals In September, 1958, the class started with the largest enroll ment in high school Our work was recognized by State School authorities as being affiliated and fully aocreditedo We felt that we had a part in this accompliskmxent because our work was checked as standard 'I'he newness of our surromidings soon wore off and we settled down to steady work Uur work was rewarded by a class party at the home of our sponsors Fall and 1959 we began our second year with members from ad Joining schools who enrolled and started with us This time the title of being the largest was surpassed by the year's Junior Class Parties and school activities brought us together as one united class even though we were separated by many miles when not at school Uur social activity was about the same as the year before, our class party given by the sponsor. Feeling more important and also beginning to see that we were a part of the high school activities, work got under way with still more members and new teachers with new and interesting subjectso Our class received more recognition when our Prince and Princess won the annual title of King and Queen of the Ha1low'een Carni val, and when our candidate for the Best All Round Girl was elected High lights of the year were the presentation of the llembers of our class won awards in basketball, tennis, extempo raneous speech and again ours was the largest high school classo Septemberg l9Lpl, rolled around and our enrollment again passed the 30 nark A Seniors group were we with thoughts of the im pending s ruggle and with all our savings directed toward De fense Stampsf, Uur year was highlighted by the purchase of our class rings, our first class party of the year?
