The sight of this doorway would bring a nostalgic lump into alumna’s throat. It is the main entrance door of the Presbyterian Col W omen, 1901-1913. This North College Street campus and buildin abandoned in 1913 when our college was transferred to its present site of fronting on Selwyn Avenue, Myers Park. he building represented here stood intact, however (inhabited as 1 he College Apartments), until the spring of 1950, at which time our college archives received the Corner Stone and its few printed records. The new gymnasium will exhibit proudly three bits of equipment that survive perpetuity from the old gymnasium—in the basement of the pictured building. ’ r|P r Page Seven
