SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS To the Class of 1965: There are obviously two educations. One should teach us how to make a living and the other how to live. May you further distill this quotation down to the infinitesimal fact that there is only one real education. The distillation, evaluated with experience and intelligence, will bring to you the realization that the making of a good life is the real product of education. May you, with this conviction, permeate your environment to the extent that other peoples will also understand that making a good life is the core and the foundation of honesty, truth, in- tegrity, and happiness.
