...,. an.-4 M WW ggi it 1 PRINCIPA L'S MESSA GE The 1971-72 school year is depicted in these pages as we lived and experienced the good times and the bad. For some it was a year of change, others a year of useful experiences, and for a few, a year of regret and wastefulness.I-lowever, for all of us we shared a year of maturity and many memories. Thank you Annual Staff for your efforts and contribution of these memorable pages. Seniors, keep faith with thyselves. As you take up your role in society and assume your places ofleadership, remember your obli- gations to your fellowman. Congratulations and may God's blessing go with you in all your endeavors. For all of us, let's be diligent, honest, sincere and faithful and again in 1972-73 the Chico Dragon will continue to be admired and respected. g2?77IfK' Billy J. S UPERIN TEN DEN T'S MESSA GE Dear Students: Yours is a minature world you live in while attending public school. Here you meet with problems in a small measure that are very similiar to the problems that you will be confronted with in the business world. At school you succeed or fail, you play, part of the time you win and part of the time you lose. Some of the time you are rewarded for your accomplishments, on other occasions you receive little if any recognition. Some have many honors come their way, some few, if any. So as you climb one by onea rung of the twelve stepped ladder that may represent the twelve years of your school life, my hope is that you are shaping your life to meet the problems of the business world with much success. A final word to you, our very fine seniors, almost by the time you read this you will be graduated into the world Ihave tried to picture above and I hope that in some small measure during the several years, we have been together I have contributed something to your life that may help you to overcome and solve the problems that may lie ahead. Y our friend, H8679 R.L. Huffman
