We are happy to dedlcate the 1956 Caduceus to Al Schlueter because of the efforts he has displayed m the over all physlcal and moral development of the ChlCO Semor Hlgh School youth After completmg h1s studles at Chlco State College Al came to Ch1CO Senlor Hlgh where he coached or 3SSlSI9d ln the coachmg of varlous teams World War II took Al away from Chlco for awhlle but upon his return he made up lost time by coachmg the champlonshlp team m the 1950 Tournament of Ch3mplOHS m Berkeley Callfornla At present Mr Schlueter IS servlng as the Dlrector of Physlcal Educatlon for the ChlCO Cnty Schools Another place where the coach ex cels IS ln hrs steelhead and salmon flshmg as we can see from the ev1dence 1n the photo The Schlueter famxly shown around the ChflStm8S tree can be plenty proud of Dad as can all of us who know h1m 41 L 7' 'i
