Robert Easley President Etta Nlae Ligon Secretary dass of 1943 . . . The navy soon claimed the junior class president, Bob Easley, and Hugh Parsons immediately stepped into his shoes, Isabelle Bally, as vice- president, found that her lot was planning parties and the Senior Fare- well, while the secretary, Etta May Ligon, and Betty Horne, as treasurer, kept minutes and bills flying. Gloria Snow, Helen Lewis, Ed Coleman, and Bill Anderson slaved on the Student Body Council and saw it through to the end. The juniors lost a number of their class to the services and a lot more to the '42 graduating class. Helen Lewis brought down the house this spring when she was elected president of the Student Body over four boys.
