The election of the head officers in the Spring gives them a chance to appoint their department editors and to make their plans for the book ahead of time. It also gives them the opportunity to get their material written up as it happens. Moreover, it makes the work easier to write up a little at a time rather than all at once as had been the custom. VVith all these points in its favor Why should we not always elect our Caduceus Editor-in-Chief and Business Manager in the Spring and give them a chance to put out as good a book as possible? wk is is :sf X Pk X :af In War times everyone is affected-the rich, the poor, and everything, even the Caduceus.
