DIRECTORS OF Maintaining the high standards of the Chickasha schools is the responsibility of five outstanding business- men. Their skill is well demonstrated by the effective- ness of our educational system. To the Board of Educa- tion, the students of Chickasha Senior High School owe a debt that can be paid only through good citizenship. To Mr. Jodie Sevier, president, we give thanks for the many times he has had to interrupt his own business, the Chickasha Funeral Home, to help our school. We owe gratitude to Mr. Charles F. Smith, first vice presi- dent, who, although busy at the Oklahoma National Bank as loan agent, finds time to help with the many school problems. We appreciate Mr. Robert Mollett, sec- ond vice president, who is owner of the Chickasha Finance Company. He is always ready and willing to give of his time and effort for the welfare of our school. MR. BROADRICK Our likable high school prin- cipal, Mr. Trice L. Broadrick, is now in his twenty-fifth year of teaching and administrative work. For twelve of these years he has been principal. This is his fifth year in Chickasha Senior High. After graduating from Ada High School, he attended East Central State College, where he received a Bachelor of Science de- gree in mathematics and in physi- cal science. The Masters degree in school administration was granted to Mr. Broadrick by the lvniversity of Oklahoma in 1942. Because of his interest in people. he decided at an early age to become a teacher. He taught at Byng and Ada before coming to Chickasha. He has been president of the State Secondary School Principals' Association and is now serving on the Board of Di- rectors of the same organization. Currently. he is on the summer staff at the Oklahoma College for Women. Mr. Broadrick is very active in civic affairs. He enjoys fishing, hunting and collecting j o k e s, stories and cartoons about people. We students admire our prin- cipal for his sense of humor and his willingness to help us solve our problems.

MR. ROY PIERCE, Clerk OUR SCHOOL of Education for sixteen years, we are grateful, for we realize that these many years have taken much time from his own business, the Ratliff Grocery Store. To Mr. Ira Elledge, a member, who owns the Chickasha Monument Company, and who has devoted many of his business hours in his untiring effort to be of service to our school, we say thank you. Three other members of our administration who con- tribute much to the effectiveness of our school are: Mr. Roy Pierce, clerk of the Board of Education, who spends endless hours to help us have a better school, Mr. Claude Welch, vice-principal, who is always ready to help a student with any problem, and Miss Hildred Todd, registrar, who always starts the day with a smile for all who come to the office for information or advice. These three and the faculty share in the responsibilities of directing the activities of Chiclcasha Senior High School. MR.
