KIT FARWELL Say ClI9f'SCZu these two words introduce to every student of Chickasha High School just one man . . . lVIr. Kit Farwell. He really needs no introduction for, through the years. he has done so much to help the youth of Chickasha that he has gained the love and respect, not only of the kids. but also of the parents. Photography has been one of his hobbies for about twenty years, and through the years he has become one of Oklahomals best amateur photog- raphers. His pictures are seen throughout our book and other annuals of the past. He takes these pictures for the enjoyment of the students. For several years he has taken movies of each of our high school football games. They make a vital con- tribution to the football team, as the boys learn many important facts about themselves and their opponents. Mr. Farwell, whose only pay for this service is the thanks he gets from the students, is always greeted by a friendly t'Hi Kit' in halls and on the campus. We the students of Chickasha Senior High School appreciate Mr. Kit Farwell for his untiring work and for the many hours spent in taking pictures for us. Again we say. Wlihank you Kit Farwell, a true friend of the youth of Chickasha. MR. G. S. SPOON Seventeen years of getting along with teachers and students . . . this is the record of Mr. Spoon, our chief custodian at C.H.S. Mr. Spoons two children graduated from our school. He has two grandchildren here in school now. Although he has little time for a hobby, he still finds time to enjoy his favorite radio and television programs. MR. ODIS PHILLIPS 'GBaseball!,, beamed Mr. Phillips when he was asked about his hobby. Even though he doesn't play now, he watches and follows it in the news- papers. The assistant custodian has been at Chicka- sha Senior High School for six years. He has two married daughters. Before working here, he and his wife operated the Grady County Farm. 1 I ' r X. f iff, 4 11,-ZA-mul' f ., 'u .1- ' M' -,fs Q, 1 , .5 f sq I? 1 1 i ,fy .x-.,-J. , f i ' Y . .. - . ' Muff' . 4 -V A . CHICKETTES All Chickettes must leave at one time or another, but one thing they all take with them are their memories. The memories of the first Purple Punch party, the early morning hours with all the dreaded marching practices and the late hours of the bus trips are all with them. The baked food sales and the program selling all lead up to just one thing- the banquet to honor the football boys. The an- nual assembly is always long remembered with a chuckle. The last is that of the breakfast at the end of the year when the officers for the ensuing year are chosen. Those are the memories she takes, but she leaves a part of her heart with the Chickettes that will be there always. b n nel Elaine shows her new uniform. Th A dre am come truefthe a q .
