Through its doors, enter generation after generation to find within an inexhaustdtble supply of opportunity. Suggestions for a name were submitted by a11 who cared to do so and from these se1ections was chosen the name HCHICK CHAT. Having no experience and not wishing to over- estimate our ability, the 1946 Annua1 was strictly a photographic process, even the printed matter being photographed. A nice book was produced for its kind. The 1947 book, profiting from our experience, has a better type of cover, more satisfactori1y bound and the printed matter type-set. The 1948 book was the first of the padded back covers and reached the best we can expect from the $2.50 price we Charge. JOYCE KENDRICK Editor-in-Chief The 1949 book as you can see is the same type. The book now produced annually for $250 is about a $5.00 or $7.50 book in other schoo1s. Mr. Streeter says the staff this year has been unusua11y unse1tish, untiring and 1aithtu1 in the preparation of the book and the en- tire Stait wishes to express its appreciation of the cooperation which has been generaHY given us.
