This year the debate students have attended the Oklahoma College for Women Speech Festival, the East-Central Speech Tournament at Ada, and the Central Speech tournament at Edmond. At these tournaments the class has competed in debate, extemporaneous speaking, standard oratory, original oratory, humor ous literature, dramatic literature, radio speaking, story telling and oral interpretation of poetry. The Pepettes participate in stunts with the band and other pep organizations during the half at the football games. They also take an active part in the cheering section at the basketball games and in the stunts for th pep assemblies.
