Pneamble At last we, the class of '57, have reached the end of our high school career. As we leave Chichester, our departure is laden with many pleasant memories of our school da s. But even though these memories won't be forgotten, they must now be ilaid aside, for we have crossed the threshold from the classroom to the wide open would, which is now to be our home, Having reached the pinnacle of our high school career, graduation, we now find ourselves on the first rung of the ladder of life. We must now again work our way to the top, but many obstacles confront us. International uncertainty, political unrest, and our personal problems, each present a challenge to us. We feel that the United Nations has helped tremendously in maintaining an international standard whereby compliance ofother countries contributes much to final unification. Asthe future workers and lead- ers of the great country in which we live, we are determined to hold forth the standards of Justice and Liberty as the United Nations has so relentlessly done in the past. Through the United Nations and the divine providence of Almighty God, our country will still hold forth those standards and al- ways be a lighthouse in the midst of a troubled sea, shining forth the principles of Freedom and Equality. 3
