The cutting, ioining, and forming of metals looks easy when these boys do it. With torches and electric welding machines and lots of know how they work with steel as we, the uninitiatecl, might work with sheets of paper, and lust as easily and safely. These are the young men who, in a few years, will be helping to build to- morrows' skyscrapers, sleek ships, and faster than sound aircraft. David Berron is perfecting his technique of ioining pipe, a good trick if you can do it,with no leaks. Dennis Centrachio and John Rivera are using a new machine which assures a straight and true cut. IT'S ALWAYS SPRINGTIME IN THE GREENHOUSE These boys and girls who are preparing Themselves for employment in nurseries, greenhouses, and florist shops have contributed greatly to the beauty of our school grounds. Our spacious green lawns highlighted by colorful flower beds and edged with flowering bushes are a ioy to the many people who pass by, as well as to our own students. Our campus is living proof of the skill and knowledge of our horticulture stu- dents. This group of students, Bonnie Nloos, Gail Surette, Tom Rossi, Kenneth Serczyk, and Dorothy Brumley are shown admiring and enioying the plants in the greenhouse.
