SPCC. CLASS MEMORIES We entered Chicago Vocational High School as children in the autumn ol '52, and now, in June, 1956. we emerge as young men and women, moulded to meet life from both a practical and a cultural standpoint. CVS, with its superb plant, its matchless equipment, and its unrivaled faculty, has offered us the golden lcey ol opportunity, and has unlocked for ussmany doors in indus- trial and business careers. Furthermore, we have not only been taught uhow to malce a living, but more, how to live . Our broad, over-all training in good citizenship should have developed within us a sense of true life values. and should qualily us to talce our places in the near future as members and leaders of our various communities. Yet. not by bread alone does man liven: life must also have its share of pie, frosted calces, and candies. And so, here at CVS, our social activities have added spice and zest to our young lives, and scores of memories to be cherished for future years. Of course, we all lcnow that without the encouragement and help of our faculty, we could not have attained our goal. ln particular, we wish to say to Mr. H. Taylor, our senior sponsor, Thanks for everything - your time, your efforts, and your patience! VVe'll never forget youln
