Vocational Art combines both Commercial Art and Cos- tume Design. lt can be taken as a major or minor subject. Students taking it as a major spend two periods a day in their first and second years, and iour periods in the third and fourth years. Commercial Art consists of such things as lettering, still- lite drawings, iigure drawings, fashion illustration, and layout designs. ln Costume Design the emphasis is always on good taste.
