The Aircraft or Engine Mechanic who graduates from CVS enters the industry with one basic requirement indelibly stamped on his mind- Safety No matter how trivial or insignificant his task may be, he is trained to maintain the airplane and engine in an air-Worthy condition. lf the mechanics in the field Were not trained to be efficient Workers, the result would probably be a crash landing, re- sulting in injury or death. X, CLASS OF IUNE 1951 The members of the lune '51 class do not brag of any firsts, but rather boast of many bests. We truly believe that our class has received better training and greater recognition than any other class. This is because of improved programing and new shops which have broadened the field of opportunity. Our class has proved its abilities in numerousfcofnpetitions, local as well as national. We have produced many cham- pionship teams. Yes, we have seen our school grow in school spirit as well as in size. We are proud of our achievements. We only hope that what we have accomplished in our four glorious years here will prove advantageous to the students yet to come, and that our Palace will be a better place for our having been here. x ,X N51 X XY? Qi 1 it t Mg CLASS OF ll-1NUARY 1952 Mid-year graduating classes at CVS are traditionally smaller than those in lune but their smallness does not affect the number or the significance of their achievements. The Class of lanuary 1952 conforms to this pattern and, through its excellence in scholastic effort and its determination to excel in extra-curricular activities, has added a bright jewel to the glorious crown of its alma mater. Their record as a class and as individual members of the class blends perfectly with our highest ideals and our aspira- tions for them. lt is our fervent hope that they will meet life's perplexities and vicissitudes with the same courage, deter- mination, confidence and intelligence that characterize their efforts at CVS, and that progress, prosperity, and happiness will be their reward.
