JUCCI tLOI'l A healthy splrlt a healthy mind and a healthy body 1 the axiom that the Academy tudents follow The healthy spmt and mmd IS acqulred through our rellglous and secular studies while the healthy body IS developed at the gy mnaslum of the Jewish Peoples lnstltute The gurl attend gym classes on Wednesday morning the high school boys on Wednesday afternoon and the elementary grades on Thursday afternoon During these classes one can find students playing basketball volleyball or soccer Classes ln svummlng are also held m the pool Many competltne tournaments are held In addltlon to the regular gym program the Academy also offers a full year course ln health and physical educatlon In that class students study basic health and nutntlon hablts and first and as well as fundamental kllls m varlous ports The Academy also has school teams ln ba ketball softball yolleyball and tenm which compete against schools and recreatlon center all oyer the clty These team haye had yery hne records ln the past year It ls felt by all that the physical education program really help to round out the weekly school program Thirty s x Q 6 .
