agzwlenf Counci SPRING SEMESTER OFFICERS M Benuck R Mosak H Yampol J Ste nmetz Presldent Hzllel Yampol Vlce President Rochelle Mosak Secretary Judzth Stemmetz Treasurer Myron Benuck THE COUNCIL met February the thirteenth with a full agenda During the the Annual Lag BOmer Outing and several lnteresting assemblies the climax 2 vxihlih was the greetmgs from Moshe Shaplro Minister of the Interlor on pri 1 Mincha vias added fox the girls and special programs were given for Pesach and Israel Day observances A bulletin board was placed in the hall glvmg news of the actlvltles of the commlttees and hlghlights of thc Council Meetings A safety committee made lmprovements ln fire drill procedure and helped 1n the study and preparatlon for protectlon from a1r raid attacks A drlve for Food for Israel was lnstltuted and calrled out enthusiastically and successfully The paper drive brought IH a record amount of paper The third yeai magazine subscription drive netted a satisfactory sum The song contest named winners for pep songs and cheers for the team All of the general standing committee orgamzations worked dlhgentlv with noticeable results The Faculty Board Relations Committee functioned effectively in obtaining many needed improvements fox the school Again the Council 19:10 1991 upheld its previous records of accomplishments and fulfilled well its stated purpose to organize the student body plan 1ts actxvlties and promote the general vtelfare of the school 51 second semester the activities consisted of the Purim Carnival, the Spring Festival.
