Easy does it! FLIGHT During CHICAGO's 1979 WESTPAC deployment, flight quarters was called away 185 times, for a total time on station of 130 hours, 8 minutes. The Ship landed and launched 165 helos and acted as a platform for the 343 choppers that hovered over us during VERTREPS. Transfers included 250 personnel and 295 pallets. Mail was picked up and delivered 64 times. CHICAGO provided refueling support a total of 22 times during the cruise.
