After two years of staff duty, thens Lieutenant Trossbach earned his BSEE Degree in Ordi- nance Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, Cali- fornia. After a three-year tour of duty in Washington, D.C. working on various weapons-related projects QAEGIS, NATO Sea Sparrow and Farpoonj, then- LCDR Trossbaciz returned to sea as Executive Officer of USS MAI-IAN KDLG-11j.
