Tomahawks support their school by attending basketball games. TOMAHAWKS All girls who are selected 'For membership in TOMAHAWKS are iuniors and seniors who maintain a 2.5 average and are outstanding in leadership, citizenship, service, good sports- manship, loyalty, courtesy, and school spirit. The purpose of the club is to support the school in every way by creating school spirit and pro- moting good sportsmanship. NATIDNAL FORENSIC LEAGUE Membership in the N A T I O N AL FORENSIC LEAGUE is the distinguished a c h i e v e m e nt awarded to speech students who have earned twenty-five points by speaking before a group of at least twenty-five adults or taking part in speech contests. The Degree of Honor is awarded to students who earn seventy-five points, the Degree of Excellence is given when students have obtained one hundred fifty points, the highest, the Degree of Distinction, is given to students with two hundred fifty. The purpose of NFL is to inspire students to develop ability in debate and speech and to sponsor speech meets with other schools so that students may be inspired through criticisms, ratings, and awards to become speakers. ln addition, the club sponsors school activities and does many school services.
