LARIAT Cheyenne High's official newspaper, the LARIAT, is published and written by the students. This year's editors have endeavored to present an accurate pic- ture of life at C.H.S., as well as report the news as it happens. Many new features were introduced this year to create student interest in the paper. The pur- pose of the paper is to record the events of interest at C.H.S. so that students may be aware of what is taking place all over the school, and to offer students a chance to learn the mechanics of news reporting and gain a practical knowledge of newspaper work. WRITERS GUILD WRITERS GUILD is open to all students who have ai interest in or an aptitude for creative writing in anj form. They meet regularly at the homes of the member and study different forms of writing. During the yea the members write many original works, some of whicl are published in the school paper or other publication in the area.
