LARIAT Cheyenne High's official newspaper, the LARIAT, is published and written by the students. This year's editors have endeavored to present an accurate pic- ture of life at C.H.S., as well as report the news as it happens. Many new features were introduced this year to create student interest in the paper. The pur- pose of the paper is to record the events of interest at C.H.S. so that students may be aware of what is taking place all over the school, and to offer students a chance to learn the mechanics of news reporting and gain a practical knowledge of newspaper work. Carolyn l.oSasso Jeanette Crayne Copy Editor Faculty and Activities Editor Pow Wow Staff Work on the 1957 POW WOW began in April, 1956, and continued through the summer and this school year, in order to present an all new yearbook to the student body. The staff has concentrated on producing a completely original yearbook, a book which would accurately and interestingly record this year at Cheyenne High, a book that would set an example for future CHS annuals to follow. Each staff member took charge of one phase of the book and was directly responsible for that part. Full co-operation on the part of every staff member has enabled this staff to publish a yearbook which will be of lasting value to the Sophomore and Junior classes, as well as the Seniors.
