That will depend to a large extent upon the boys have finished school in the past and those who will go through the future They will take the positions of responslbility in and determlne the progress of the future Page Three . It lems which they meet in theirxeveryday life. The sokoalled mental discipline Fake rouz Ms 5 E ln a mo rn and progressive manner our school board nembers Mr R W Carnes, Presldent, Dr R W Adams, Clerk, and mr C D Olson, Treasurer, are ever watchful and intensely interested lU the welfare of the school policies On them rests the responsiblllty of conduct ing a good school and to them belongs the credlt of the outstanding successful school of Chetek Thelr vlsion and foresight to introduce new de partments for the better trainlng of young people ha made Chetek High one of t e f1nest schools that any student could hope to ttend Tre students are rlbttfully proud of this in stltution Wy 1 Mpwyyyii QW A C I.I LT E. L. Brown Principal of Schools The close of his third year as principal of Chetek Schools finds Mr. Brown more liked and resfected than ever before. Through his un- tiring efforts he has helped to introduce many new courses and activi- ties into the high school schedule. Besides his executive duties, he has tried to become a personal friend and advisor to each and every student, and his help is never withheld from those who ask for it. He has also made himself a citizen of which the city of Chetek may well be proud. Kwai ,. AWS Byron Van Hollen Lillie Ahlsren Science EH55liS1'1 Bernice Burns Q . To Dorothy Schaefer, Esther Taylor, and Lula Mae Stienke goes the credit for the art work on the division pages. The organization pages were arranged and drawn up by Beatrice Kienitz and Anna Mae Du Bois. Norma Railton and her assistant Shirley Ganske, were very compe- tent humor editors. In the athletics department were Harriet Johnson, Erling Hanson, and Donald Williams. The typing was done by Elaine Johnson and Evelyn Hayes. One of the most interesting duties, is that of arranging the snapshots, was shared by Violet Carnes and Ruth Froiland. James Boysen, with Alice Mork, as his assistant, was kept busy providing snapshots and helping Mr. Brown photograph the larger groups The business end of this enterprise was upheld by Rose Miel- oszyk, supported by Eldred Whitmore.
