ROBERT KIEFMAN This is Mr. Kieiman's second year at C. R. H. S. A graduate of Ship- pensburg State Teachers College with a B. S. Degree. He is our Commercial teacher. Favorite saying Take a Let- ter. Likes to travel, fish, hunt, and do Photograph Work. Pet Peeve: Stu- dents who whisper and chew gum in class. The Commercial Club and the Shawnee Echo are under his super- vision. Co-sponsor ot the Freshmen Class. IAMES L. LEHMIER A graduate of St. Francis College, Loretto, Penna. He teaches Social Studies for the second year at C. R. H. S. Likes all kinds of sports. Pet Peeve: Students chewing gum. Mr. Lehmier is the advisor ot the Lion, our yearbook, and co-sponsor of the Freshmen Class. IOI-IN W. MILLER Our Science and Biology teacher is a graduate ot Shippensburg and Penn State Colleges. This is his ninth year at C. R. H. S. He likes to read, hunt, and tish. Pet Peeve: Cowboy- ing. Co-sponsor of the Sophomore class. ROBERT MILLER Mr. Miller is our Physical Educa- tion teacher. This is his second year at C. R. H. S. A graduate of Lock Haven State Teachers College, Lock Haven, Pennsylvania. Sponsor of the Iunior Class and Coach of High School Baseball. Eleven WILLIAM NORMAN This is Mr. Norman's iirst year at Chestnut Ridge Iunior High School. He is a graduate ot Indiana's State Teachers College with a B. S. De- gree. RUTH BRUBAKER Miss Brubaker is a graduate ol Susquehanna University and received the Masters Degree from Penn State. She teaches Iunior and Senior Eng- lish, Commercial English, first and second year Latin. This makes her eleventh year at C. R. H. S. Favorite saying is All Right! Pet Peeve is candy wrappers on the floor. MARGARET CUPPETT A graduate ot Iuniata College. Teaches Iunior High School English. Pet Peeve: Children with snillling noses. Likes to eat, and dislikes hear- ing students say ain't. MARGARET DAUGHERTY A graduate of Iuniata College with graduate work at Penn State. This is her 9th year at C. R. H. S. Likes teaching, homemaking, and her hob- by is sewing. Pet Peeve: Noisy study halls. BLANCHE EGOLF A graduate of Iuniata College with a B. S. Degree. Teaches Iunior High School history. Pet Peeve is students chewing gum. Likes to eat, sleep and travel. Favorite saying is You should know better. MARTIN GATES Mr. Gates is our Art Instructor. This is his first year at C. R. H. S. He attended Shippensburg State Teachers College and Penn Univer- sity. While in the army, he served in the Infantry lUlst Airborne Div- ision. Pet Peeve: Getting up too early in the morning. Hobby: An- tique collecting. Favorite pastimes are hiking, boating, and reading. Ten ROBERT HILL Our industrial Arts teacher is a graduate ol Millersville State Teach- ers College. He teaches Industrial Arts in both Iunior and Senior High School. He has been teaching at C. R. H. S. for two years. Likes: Leathercraft and woodwork.

A graduate of Penn State College. He is a member of the Active Naval Reserve where he is a Lieutenant j. g. He is in charge of the Vocational Agriculture and he is also co-sponsor of the Sophomore Class. Pastime is flying. DONALD RORABAUGH Mr. Rorabaugh is a graduate of Indiana State Teachers College with a B. S. Degree in Education, ma- joring in Mathematics. This is his first year at New Paris. Favorite saying: Is that clear? Pet Peeve: Noisy class rooms. His hobbies are recre- ational mathematics and all kinds of sports. MADOLINE TAYLOR A graduate of Iuniata College with a B.A. Degree, graduate work at University of Pennsylvania and Penn State teaches Math, and P. O. D. She is the secretary-treasurer of the Bed- lord County P. S. E. A. She is a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, an honorary teacher's sorority. Favorite saying: Shoot. Sponsor of the Sen- ior Class. Twelve ALVIRA WILL A graduate of Irving Music Con- servatory with a Bachelor of Music Degree: also a graduate of West Vir- ginia University With a A.B. Degree.
