THIS PAGE IS DEDICATED TO R. JAMES STEWART MR. IAMES R. STEWART Mr. Iames R. Stewart has left a space at C. R. H. S. that will never be completely filled until he returns to us after spending a couple of years with Uncle Sam. Mr. Stewart had started his first year of teaching after gradu- ating from Indiana State Teachers College with a Bachelor's degree in Music. He did a fine job while he was with us. He not only taught music to the High School students and the elementary students at Schellsburg, but also went to the Iunior High at New Paris, and Washington and Lincoln grade schools which was appreciated by all. We can feel sure he'll be a success as a soldier because he proved so successful as our Chorus teacher in the short time he was with us. We wel- come and appreciate the fact that Mr. Pepe will keep our Chorus going, and hope he likes having us back. Mr. Stewart also did a wonderful job as the director of the Iunior Class Play. We seniors regret that he won't be here to direct ours, but We're sure Mr. Thomas will do a fine job in putting our plays over. We all miss Mr. Stewart very much, but We'll be looking forward to his return. We are sure he'll come to visit us whenever there's a possibility, but until he does, we will keep this sentiment in our hearts. He's gone, but not forgotten. Fifty Four
