Arthur R. Troisi, Principal To the Class of 1969: Barbara Degrush Secretary Graduation from high school is called com- mencement for very good reason. Rather than an ending, it is a great beginning. You now part company and go your separate ways. It becomes the beginning of a new era for all of you. For some, this means the end of your formal education; for others, your years at Chestertown Central have just been the introduction to more intense study. As you leave these halls and classrooms, I hope you take with you many of the lessons learned here. Always remember that education is a continuing process in a world of change. You must be receptive to learning, adjusting, and to analyzing and solving problems. Regardless of the activity in which you en- gage yourselves, you cannot avoid respon- sibility to society. All of us want freedom, but with it comes ever increasing responsibility. Freedom and responsibility work hand in hand.
