Richard White Dick has always been one of the most popular members of our class. Active in all sports, he is valuable member of the Chestertown Varsity teams. Especially fond of Math class, he proves to be a constant joy to Mr. Wentworth. Dick hopes to study Hotel Management in college and the class is looking forward to visiting Dick's Happy Hideaway . Mary Ann Pauli As secretary of our class for the past six years, Mary has kept our class up to date and organized. Her coffin proved itself to be invaluable and worthy of our Prom cause . If it weren't for her pizzas, our centerpieces would not have been as inspired. Mary enjoys ice skating, snow-mobiling, skiing and swimming. 19

Robert S. Montgomery Bob is considered to be one of the most outstanding athletes in our class. He has greatly participated in all CHS sports but aside from this, Schroon Lake held a special attraction for him. His interests include golf, swimming, tennis and breaking glassware in Chemistry class. Bob leaves Mr. Mc- Dowell fond memories and a burnt notebook. William D. Annan Bill must be credited for being one of the best ski-doo drivers in school. He would always stop to help somebody on the trails if they were in trouble. In school he showed remarkable talent in tipping back in his chair and sleep- ing during classes. Even though he left at the beginning of the year for Florida he managed to be back in time for the Senior trip. 18

Edward Schumacker Ed was also a member of the Chester- town youth corps and was very fond of playing tricks on Don and his car. He proved himself to be an able ceiling decorator for our Prom. Ed especially enjoyed Business Law class with Mr. Ross and was a continuous source of current events information gained mainly by reading the New York Daily News . David Moffitt Dave could always be found after school helping to clean up and as a member of the youth corps was always working with the custodians in main- tenance work. He was always at his best when explaining poetry to Mrs. Magee. The Senior boys will never for- get Zorro Buckwheat and his tricks in Washington with the shaving cream. 20
