We cannot have every- thing and if we hope to get the most out of life, we must give up the things that unfit us for living the abundant life and have eternal security. My congratulations to you. the class of 1963, for your efforts in presenting this yearbook of cherished memories of Chestertown Central School. The en- deavors of hard work and sacrifices which you have made during your past school years here have brought you to the threshold of your future. May the years to come bring success and a wealth of happiness to each of you. Very sincerely yf Sw£ ''V'Hct'v-uy John H. Brinkman MR. JOHN BRINKMAN Principal MRS. JOHN BRINKMAN Secretary MRS. WENDELL ROSS Senior Class Advisor April 18, 1962, a night to remember! The theme of our Junior Prom was BEYOND THE BLUE HORIZON. The school auditorium was decorated with our class colors, turquoise and white. The stage was set with a large gold quarter moon and small lights twinkling in the background. Our corona- tion was held at 11:00, Kirby and Diana were chosen King and Queen. ALL SHOOK-UP was presented by the Senior Class on November 16, 1962. The play was directed by Mrs. Magee, assisted by Mr. Hartness. Certainly, we’ll always be all shook-up” when we remember the many things that made the play so much fun—Artie's dye job, Donny’s bongo playing, John's bagels, Kir- by's losing his red p. j. 's, the Shockett leap, the struggle to build the rock, the modern art, espresso coffee and our Chestertown beatniks! 1! oenior Our Class Ring Senior Class Officers Yearbook Staff Absent: Art and John «J' A Bruce Nolin Carol Dana Bischoff Smith Shirley Lewis 11 tli Gradi fa 'vF' Hilda Hutchins Paul DeMarco Vincent Perry William O'Leary Murray DeMatties June Ardath Maxam Steves Jerry Smith Andrea Joseph Grace Martha Roberts Moon lOtk Or Je Robert Ellsworth Richard Hagen Kenneth Little Stephen Monroe Richard Roberts Atchison Scott _ rs, Y LN ________f) [o Carol Robert Hill White Marsha Jones Robert Arleen Culver Kemmer Violet Tennyson Glen Sherman Christal Packer David Rogers Bruce Chapman Linda Wertime Norman Guidie 9ill tjr de Andrew Chapman Louise Guerette John Maxam Michael Tompkins Kevin Hayes Barbara Peter Sharon James Patricia Bisner Stewart Baker Dunn Clarke Eiglktlk Grade Christopher Boggia Thomas Apple Lynne Sullivan Harold Moffitt Carol Wakeley David Starbuck Elizabeth T ennyson Eric Anderson Timothy Hill Robert Culver Carol Holfolter Frank DeMarco Linda Frazier Jerry LaFlure Kathleen Montgomery Winthrop Byers George Wertime David Elmer Moffitt Whipple James Daniel Nestor Magee Michael Vincent Packer Tennyson Chris David Tennyson Hartness Benjamin Tennyson Stephanie Cooper N?
