Karen Krone, our American Field Service exchange student, traveled to Norway last summer. Karen models the oHicial cos- tume of Norway. A.F.S. CHOOSES KARE Karen practices knitting in Norway. After many tests, questions, applications, and shots Karen Krone was on her way to Norway. She was selected through the American Field Serv- ice as the foreign exchange student from Chester- ton High School. Many new experiences awaited Karen in her 'iadopted country. Her second family exemplified the typical existence of modern- day Norwegians. Learning to knit, traveling through thc countryside and visiting the major cities gave Karen a broader outlook and under- standing of Scandinavian culture.
