Dick Didelot, vice presidential candidate, and Mary Slont, his campaign manager, make sure Dick's poster is hanging straight. Dick Krieps won over Jo Ann Wallace in a class presidential race. Dick Didelot was victorious in the vice presidential race against Karin Miles.

Because ot this general harmonious atmos- phere, student elections and talent shows are able to be held without strict supervision and students learn more responsibility. This triendliness on the part ot the pupils, also, encourages the faculty members to willingly sponsor extracurricular activities.

MIDST STUDENT ELECTIONS After Dick Didelot's resigna- tion, the council elected Ray Crampton, acting vice president. The members also elected Pat Burnside to serve as secretary. Planned activities for the year included revising the student guide book, writing a book on student etiquette, and combined meetings with student councils from other schools. Ambitious campaign workers combine work and play while they paint pos- ters, make campaign buttons, and trY their hand at writing political speeches. Kal., Krieps will give you security promises one of the many posters for Dick Krieps, Among Dick's supporters were Pat Burnside and Tom Furst, his campaign managers.
